Ashley’s Addictive Book Blog author guidelines to request for a review or Blog Tour

     Hello Author’s and Publishers! Thank you for taking an interest in Ashley’s Addictive Book Blog to help promote your book. There are just a few things you need to do to send me a request to review your book. I will try my best to respond in a timely matter. However please keep in mind that the decision to review a title is up to me.
What I enjoy reading & reviewing

• Romance western
• Fiction
• Mystery and Suspense
• True Crime  
• LGBT 
• M/M 
• And Much More 

Things I will have to turn down

• some Religious/ Self -Help
• Political 
• Children Books ( they do not mesh with the main genre i review and post on the blog however I do have children and read to them all the time.) 
• The best way to see if your book will make the cut is send me a email you never know it might just strike my interest

Next I need the book.
Please allow a week for short novels less than 200 pages before you want the review posted

Please allow 2 to 3 weeks for any novel up to 500 pages before wanting a review to be posted.
Please allow 3 weeks or longer for any novel longer than 500 pages before wanting a review posted.

Remember every book will be considered as long as it is not one listed as a no no

What you can expect to see in a review regardless what the feature length may be
Each review will have the following components:

•  Photo of the Book Cover
• Title
• Author
• Photo of the Author
• Publisher
• Type of Book
• Author’s Website
• Link to Amazon.com/publishing website of choice for purchase
• Release Date, if applicable
• Summary of the Book
• My Personal Review of the Book
• A star rating of 1-5
• Duplicate posting on Amazon.com, Barns and noble, Google plus, Ashley’s Addictive Book Blog Facebook page, and Good Reads as well as links to Twitter and Facebook

Types of formats I will except( this order)

1. Kindle
2. NOOK
3. E-PUB
4. Actual book
5. PDF 
6. and any other type of book format (as long as I have a program to read)
