“Pout those pretty lips. Show me how much you want it,” he says. I do what he wants, pursing my lips close together. “Fuck, you’re so pretty,” he murmurs. “Let me taste that ice cream, too.” Suddenly he leans in and smashes his lips on mine. I’m caught by surprise as he kisses my lips like he wants to eat me. His mouth is voracious, sucking at my lips, licking the rim. Without thinking about it, my lips part, as he pushes his tongue inside. He’s so forceful, I can’t resist, while he eagerly licks my tongue. He’s greedy as fuck, and somehow this makes me want to latch onto his mouth. I can’t explain it, let alone justify it. He takes my mouth like it was his all along, claiming my lips and tongue like an animal. He groans and sucks harshly, not giving me an inch to breathe. I’m losing it. “Yes!” I shrieked as I threw myself off the bed and into Drake’s arms in response to his proposal. “A million times yes.”

Knowing he’d been holding on to an engagement ring for so many months was a shock, although a much more pleasant one than the other one I’d received tonight. Sure, the idea of marrying Drake had crossed my mind from time to time even though our relationship was still relatively new and we were young. I’d been hiding after what had happened with Brad. His betrayal had made me lose faith in boys and love. Meeting Drake had brought me back to life and made me want more again, but we still had another year of school until we graduated from college.
