She still has a story printed on yellow legal paper in second grade about a ghost, a witch and a talking cat. Writing childish stories for her own pleasure led to majoring in English at college. Like most English majors, she dreamed of writing a novel, but didn't have the necessary focus and follow through at that time in her life. A husband, children and work occupied the next twenty years and it was only in 2000 that she began writing again. Bonnie enjoys reading stories about people damaged by life who find healing with a like-minded soul. When she couldn't find enough books to suit her taste, she began to write them. This book was a book I thought was going to the something I have read over and over but it was not instead it was a sweet romantic book that grabbed my heart the moment I started reading. the plot was awesome the amount of self preservation the author put in to the main character was brilliant I honestly do not think I have ever read a book where the girl had those types of morals. I am glad that she was able to move on from the issues she was facing and I honestly would love to know more about her. This is the first book in a five part series however each book talks about one of her friends and they all lead up to the big wedding that one of her friends are having. I am looking forward to reading all the books and can not wait to picture this wedding that is in the making.
